CCND to Host Book Reading on Giving Hearts Day

This Giving Hearts Day, Catholic Charities North Dakota is proud to announce we are hosting a book reading and signing for the brand new book A Shrub Not a Tree, the Family We’ve Grown to Be written by Ashley Rae Klinger, a North Dakota native and 2021 ND AMI Mother of the Year. The reading will be held at the Catholic Charities Office building on February 9^th from 3:30 to 5:00 and is open to the public.

Inspired by the growth of her family and their journey through infertility, adoption, and foster care, author Ashley Rae (Klinger) has introduced A Shrub Not a Tree as the first book in a special collection of children’s books aimed at empowering and equipping families around the world to live purposeful, intentional, engaged, and faith-filled lives.

Ashley Rae and her husband have worked with the Adults Adopting Special Kids program at Catholic Charities North Dakota to grow their family through adoption. They now are looking to share their story and inspire others.

Join us on Giving Hearts Day, February 9^th, to hear Ashley Rae read her story. Refreshments and information on Catholic Charities North Dakota’s two different adoption programs will be provided.
